Every donation you make through our “Team Beard Head” page will go directly towards Movember, but we’ll also send you a pack of Beard Head stickers as a way of saying “thank you”! We’ll also periodically do giveaways and hand out other gifts to “Team Beard Head” members. Go register now and support a great cause!
Of course there are other ways to support Movember than a donation. In fact, the best thing you could do is to grow a mustache (no beards though…careful!). Read more about it after the break!
WHAT IS MOVEMBER?
Movember is the month formerly known as November, where men and women across the globe join together to raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues. Men grow a Mo (moustache) for 30 days to become a walking, talking billboards, for our men’s health causes - specifically cancers affecting men.
Men who support Movember, called Mo Bros, start by registering at Movember.com. Mo Bros start Movember 1st clean-shaven, then grow and groom their Mo, for the rest of the month, raising money along the way. Women who support Movember, called Mo Sistas, also start by registering at Movember.com. Mo Sistas champion the Mo by supporting their Mo Bros, organizing events, leading a team and spreading the important message of men’s health.
WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
Funds raised through the Movember US campaign go to Movember (Tax ID: 77-0714052) which is a national, not for profit organization with 501(c)(3) registration.
The net funds are committed to programs supporting prostate cancer and other male cancer initiatives run by Movember and through our men’s health partners the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG.
The Prostate Cancer Foundation, LIVESTRONG and Movember together ensure that funded programs are world-class and align with our strategic goals.

IFC’s “Whisker Wars” Contest!
This summer, the fascinating and hair raising world of competitive facial hair growing is coming to IFC! “Whisker Wars” premieres Friday, August 5 at 11:00 pm ET/PT! To kick off the season, IFC is hosting a Facial Hair Photo Contest, where you can upload a photo of your facial hair to win cash and prizes! And guess what? Whisker Wars follows a devoted group of whisker warriors as they travel the country competing for top bearding honors in preparation for the World Championship Competition in Trondhjem, Norway. Historically, Germany has long dominated the field but now there is an upstart squad on the horizon - Beard Team USA.

We absolutely love the folks over at Thrillist.com, an online magazine/daily email that “finds the best of what’s new in your ‘hood and on the web.” Thrillist was one of the very first outlets to feature our Beard Heads way back when we first launched, and their coverage was a huge part of our success.

New Beard Head Stickers!
We just came out with some new Beard Head stickers! We have one for each of our four most popular colors. Each sticker is printed on all-weather high-quality clear vinyl, and are 2”x2.5”. The face part is clear, so you can stick them on photos or magazines or whatever!

We took some Beard Heads out to a Warrior Dash event in Lake Elsinore, CA this weekend. Armed with two GoPro HD Hero cameras, we took to the mud and got dirty! Unfortunately, we lost some of the best footage due to a SDHC card error, but there’s still some good stuff here!
